Re: R7000 REMOTE ACCESS
> Can't access router remotely
"Can't" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.
How, exactly, are you trying to "access router remotely"? Web
browser? Some Genie app on some device or other?
> Router does not appear in device list
Which/whose "device list"? At what, exactly, are you looking?

Re: R7000 REMOTE ACCESS
Using the Netgear Genie app on an iPhone 7+ I hit login to manage.
Under the remote tab, there is no router listed to connect to.
If I try to login from the remote tab, I get a screen called Device List that asks me to select a router to manage remotely. No router is listed.
The last time I was at the router location, I was able to turn off wifi on my phone and login remotely.
