Nighthawk X4S AC2600 R7800 Ping Spikes
im on ethernet. im sure its not isp problem cause i pinged my router
most of the ms is <1
but sometimes its higher than 2000

Hi Rifle, I would suggest you post here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/bd-p/home-wifi-routers-nighthawk as this part of the community forum is for the Nighthawk Pro Gaming routers (XR450, XR500 & XR700).
Just to add my two cents so you have something to go on before posting in the new forum. If you're pinging the router itself and getting a spike then its likely either the ethernet cable you're connecting to it with or the WiFi experienced congestion. In general pinging the router is not a good way of determining the quality of your connection. You'll want to ping something like Twitter or Google instead.
