Xr1000 and Ubiquiti Air Cube
Whats the best way to connect my modem/router to a new router i bought? I got this router hoping to reach further as i spend most of my time outside. I read a bit about how you're not supposed to have two routers but im just starting to understand.
My isp provided me with an Ubiquiti Air cube dual band. I bought a Netgear nighthawk xr1000v2. Connection reaches further than i thought it would. But im having more problems than i was before.
Are the two devices even compatible? Will there be issues with my isp? Should i consider buying my own modem? Is that even possible? Sorry for my **bleep**ty explanation! I need help!

Otherwise, what are the issues you're having specifically?

Re: Xr1000 and Ubiquiti Air Cube
Like, isn't that what I'm trying to do??
Also, I did see several reviews saying aircubes aren't that great for bridge mode anyway.
I'm kinda stuck. I can't even have fun gaming because I get constant lag and matches take forever to load.

Re: Xr1000 and Ubiquiti Air Cube
You don't need bridge mode, just the DMZ option I mentioned will be fine
