3rd party purchase - total factory reset
I bought a modem/router from someone on Facebook marketplace… They got it as an open box at Walmart. But whoever originally purchased it at Walmart registered the modem with Comcast. It’s deactivated but not deregistered. Is there anyway to completely wipe out/reset the modem settings?

Who knows what you mean by deregisted, as previously explained. But the manual (also see other reply) tells you how to wipe the settings.
