403 Forbidden Error with Internet Tab
I've read many articles before coming here. When I try updating a setting in the "Internet" tab I get the following error: "403 Forbidden". I tried:
Firmware Factory reset
Router Factory reset
Firmware Update

Re: 403 Forbidden Error with Internet Tab
You have the R6120?
What firmware do you have on it?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
When you say you're trying to update a setting, do you mean a setting in the router?
have you tried a different pc and browser?

Re: 403 Forbidden Error with Internet Tab
Yeah, I am now having the exact same issue. Even just switching to the internet tab and pressing "apply" sends up a 403. Seems like something has gone funky with the file permissions or something. But I'm no expert.
Things I have tried
Firmware reset
Router reset
Different browser
Different computer
No solution. I am still completely "Forbidden" from changing any settings in my internet tab.
Oh, and just to address your questions. Yes we are attempting to change the settings on our routeres. Under basic (or even advanced) the "Internet" tab, which controls DNS, and ISP IP settings etc.
Not sure if there is any soltuion in the Netgear community, this might be a top down issue.
