AC Adapter Power Cord for Nighthawk X6 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R8000) - AC3200
The power cord/ac adapter which came with my router, Nighthawk X6 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R8000) - AC3200, is too short!!!
I have looked and bought so many things to try to extend it WITHOUT the bulky box half way up my wall but no luck.
I have been buying extensions for my existing cord with no luck.
Below is the current information I have been using to purchase items. Would someone tell me if I am correct or what I am doing wrong?

Re: AC Adapter Power Cord for Nighthawk X6 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R8000) - AC3200
why don't you just buy a cheap power cord? Then you can put the "bulky" power supply right by the router.
Or you can buy a 3rd party after market cord. You just need to make sure it outputs the same voltage and polarity and AT LEAST the same (but can be more) amperage.
