Hi Fellows,
I was wondering if the AC5300 router is vdsl capable? If not, which wifi router should I buy that has a fibre optics modem built-in? On the other hand, is there a standalone fibre optics only modem that Netgear produces?
Thanks.

Hello @spiderman1
Welcome to the community!
Your modem should support the fiber optic connection then you connect to the AC5300 (R8500) router.
However, if you're looking for a modem router that has a fiber optic modem built-in, NETGEAR does not have any device that would meet that requirement.
We only have Cable and VDSL gateways.
