Ac7800 slow internet

Hi, I have a nighthawk ac7800. Our cable speed is 800mg and the fastest the router connects at is 93.4mg average. Any ideas on how to get better performance. Comcast is telling me that I need to upgrade to their X1 router.

Try disabling NAT boost, save and reboot then test. If the speed is still slow try changing the Duplex to Full 100 or Full 1000 mbps. You may also want to swap the ethernet cable between the modem and router and between the router and computer just to rule it out if you haven't already.

What actual model do you have?

ac7800 isn't a model or even a speed. Maybe AX7800? but again, thats a speed. 

Maybe you mean R7800?

What device are you connecting to it? 

Are you testing wired? Wireless? If wireless, what band are you testing on? (hint, 2.4ghz is a slow band)

What modem/gateway do you have?
