Can't download podcasts, router won't allow it - Nighthawk R8000
All of a sudden, I can't download any podcasts from any apps, on my iMac AND my iPhone. My speeds seem alright, and I can download when not connected to Wi-Fi, so through cellular. Is there a tweak I can do to the router to allow for podcast downloads? This just started happening today, but spectrum did come work on the internet last week. I have their modem and obviously my own netgear router. Thanks, this is driving me crazy.

what modem do you have from spectrum?
What firmware is on the router?
Are you using your isp's dns?
which is enabled, ipv4 or 6?

Re: Can't download podcasts, router won't allow it - Nighthawk R8000
Update - I found if I turned my VPN on, I was able to download all podcasts late last night, but still not without it. But, this morning, they download without an issue (with no VPN on) - so, mine is resolved and I don't know why. I appreciate the help - but I can briefly answer your questions, in hopes it might help someone else, or when it happens again.
spectrum hitron e31n2v1 cable modem docsis 3.1 is the modem, I believe
firmware version V1.0.4.68_10.1.75
Using the IP's DNS
ip4 was enabled, but I turned out ip6 yesterday, to no avail.
Once again, thanks for responding!
