Connection error

I started noticing this issue this past few days. I am trying to connect to a csgo game server, but for some reason it doesn't connect. I know for a fact that 2 weeks ago I could connect to that server just fine. So I don't know why its refusing to connect. I know its not my firewall/antivirus because I turned those off and did not help.I tried pinging the server through powershell and it did not respond, but when my friends tried it worked. I called my isp and turned off my router and connected my pc with ethernet straight tot the modem and it connected to the game server. So it narrowed it down to the router. I tried both downgrading and upgrading the firmware, but there was no use, same outcome. Could anyone please help me with this issue.
