You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

Just FYI: Netgear just dumped a ton of refurbished R8000s in the market. You can get one for 150 from amazon or newegg.

Thanks so much for the info. 139.00 with prime shipping. Not bad. BUT...it only has a 90 day warranty and someone commented that they got a dead one. This is a buyer beware kind of thing. I love the price, but things break...as we all know.

Hard to say exactly. Around 48 hours. Nothing valuable in the stats or logs. No errors, no failed connection attempts, no packet loss on the link. The lease did renew at 4am last night. It looks like all the 2.4G devices (and only 2.4G devices) didn't reconnect. Some are DHCP and some are reserved. A simple reboot solved the problem.
