Feedback for R7000 New firmware 1.0.9.18
Hi All,
Please post here for any update/issue related to the latest firmware 1.0.9.18.
You should review this and maybe revert back to this recommended version of FW:

I found this tutorial (http://avi.im/blag/2015/asus-wrt-merlin-on-netgear-r7000/) posted in another thread which says you do the .chk to get Tomato then the .trx to get XWRT-Vortex.
Correct. I followed the initial flashing instructions in the link provided by rogier64. Pretty straightforward and everything seems to be running smoothly so far.
