Sorry if a repeat auestion but trying to understand if there is a new firware update for the R7000. The Netgear website says yes-ver 1.0.11.116 but my router does not find that update when I check for updates, mine is running V1.0.11.110
It seems like the auto-update isn't always on "the latest". It seems like usually the devices that do auto-update tend to get it a bit after the general release for those who manually update.

Yup. And on very rare occasional it can happen the other way round. Autoupdates have landed before the one on the support pages.
There are also times when a beta "hotfix" version turns up in the "articles" section of the support pages and either disappears or eventually migrates to the other two channels.
