Last night, the area was hit with a nasty lightning storm. All my stuff is surge protected, as evidenced that I still get Internet connection, but ONLY throught the Cable modem/router (My R9000 is connected to the cable modem/router.
After the power was restored, I no longer had the Nighthawk connection, but still had the cable modem. When I shut off the R9000 and restart it, some lights flash, the lights labeled 1 through 6 flash ORANGE, and in the end only the two leftmost light are illuminated.
I've tried unplugging it several times to reboot it, but the results are the same. I can't image the R9000 was damaged when nothing else was. The R9000 is about 1 1/2 years old, and the manual that came with it was very general, saying just to plug it in and it connects. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Is my Nighthawk x10 AD7200 dead???
They are white.
Appreciation to everyone who pondered this. The problem was with the cable provider's modem that I had the X10 connected to. I'm almost pleased that I had this problem because in fixing it, I was reminded that the recent iPhone X I got is 5G capable, and I wasn't connected to the Nighthawk's 5G network.
Thanks again.

Re: Is my Nighthawk x10 AD7200 dead???
Maybe it was down to the order in which things started. I have seen this after a power cut. The modem just connects too late, after the router has kicked in.
After a power cut be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug the modem.
- Turn off the modem router and computers.
- Plug in the modem and turn it on. Wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the modem router and wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the computers.

Re: Is my Nighthawk x10 AD7200 dead???
That was the order of "reboot" that I performed, but apparently didn't leave the cable company's modem unplugged for long enough.
