Netgear Nighthawk router
My Netgear Nighthawk router specs say it can support 32 devices per band... If I add an AP via a hard-wired POE switch to one of the router's ports, do the devices on that AP count towards the 32 device limit? Or do they only count towards the AP's device limit?
FWIW... the devices connecting to the wireless AP will be assigned an IP via DHCP on the primary Nighthawk router.

Which router is that?
The router handles connected devices.

The AP devices won't count to the 32 device band limit.

Is that won't count in the 32 device limit or won't add to the 32 device limit?
From what it sounded like the OP is connecting an access point to the router and wondering if the devices on the access points wireless will count against the 32 device limit per band on the router. (or i'm misreading it).
If thats the case, it won't count as one of the 32 devices that the router is limited to on its own 2.4ghz/5ghz bands.
