Netgear R8000P: Can't reach router login page
I'm troubleshooting my mother's router, a Netgear R8000P. It was working up until yesterday, April 1st. Now, the internet connectivity over ethernet is working, but the wifi is not working. The wifi network does not appear on the devices. I've tried to access the router settings by going to 192.168.1.1 and routerlogin.net, but it simply sends me to the netgear homepage. Any suggestions?
Edit: I should add we have power cycled the router, to no effect. The router is attached by ethernet to a hitron cable modem.

Re: Netgear R8000P: Can't reach router login page
Double check you are on the same network and that your actually keying the correct router IP address.
Several times, I've made simple mistakes, thinking I was on a certain network and realized I flipped the numbers.
Hope this helps!
Within windows:
Open a command PROMPT (Type CMD)
Use the following command:
ipconfig /all
Ensure that your IP address matches the GATEWAY device:
for example: gateway 192.168.10.1 or gateway 192.168.43.11 or X.X.X.X (This is you router IP)
In the Browser: https://x.x.x.x
