Nighthawk App (formerly up)
I just downloaded the app on my smartphone and upon installation and setup it says my Nighthawk router is not compatible (R7500v2).
What is the problem?
Here is the list of supported routers but we are constantly updating.

The r7500v2 was recently updated to Firmware Version 1.0.3.36. The change logs says that this update allows the router to work with the app.
I think Netgear needs to update the app in order to support the router because I'm having the same issue.

New Features and Enhancements:
- Supports the Nighthawk app version 2.1
And (for example) the Android version of the Nighthawk App is on some v2.2 for a while already.

Thank you! That completely answers the question. My Nightawk AC2350 router R7500v2 is not on the compatability list for the Nighthawk App.

Yeah.. i have the same prob. the newer frimware update logs says it has support for new app but it doesnt.
