After updating the Nighthawk R8300 router to the new firmware version 1.0.2.100_1.0.82, my computer (Windows 10) does not detect the drive that I had connected to USB port. Also, Windows does not detect the drives on the Time Capsule, connected to R830. I can still access the contents of USB drive through HTTP and FTP, but not through Windows Explorer. Multiple reboots of R8300, of the Time Capsule, and of my computer did nothing. Also, reverting to the previous firmware version did not fix the problem.

Re: Nighthawk R8300 - USB Storage not recognized by Windows after firmware update 1.0.2.100_1.0.82
As I found out, it was not a router problem after all. I had a certain Windows Feature turned off, which is why I could not see other computers. The feature that I reenabled can be found in Programs and Features window, in a Turn Windows features on or off menu. Its name is SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support.
