Nighthawk X10 + QNAP TVS-472XT (10GbE)
I have purchased a QNAP TVS-472XT NAS. The NAS comes with a10GBASE-T RJ45 connection and CAT 6a connector. My question is what transiver do I need to purchase to make this work with my X10. I am already using the port aggigation for my older NAS.
Thanks in advance
Netgear AXM765 SFP+ Transceiver 10GBase-T (SFP+ COPPER RJ45 GBIC) .... but before checking the price, please have a seat.
There are some "no-name" vendors offering similar SFP+ 10GBase-T modules for (much) less. No Netgear specific coding (programming) is required for using it in the X10 SFP+ garage, but of course if the price is right you can buy one programmed like a Netgear AXM765.

There is no need for such an expensive Tranceiver! It would be even cheaper to buy a
Netgear XS708E Replacement 100NES ProSafe 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch
and simple
10GTEK SFP Transceiver Module

Undoubted more value - still a lot more than what a alternate source SFP+ 10GBase-T can be sourced.
And if the price is essential, use a passive SFP+ DAC for the link to the switch, much less expensive than any laser or 10GBase-T SFP+ module 8-)
