Nighthawk X4S R7800 - various admin pages just hang with Please wait a moment

Various parts of my X4S R7800 just "hang" with a spinner, stating "Please wait a moment". I can't even get to the firmware upgrade page. Those pages that I can get to, are extremely slow.

Is it time to change brands, or is there some fix available?

How are you connecting to the router?  Via Wi-Fi or direct via ethernet cable?

What device are you using to connect to the admin pages?  Real computer, phone, tablet?

What operating system is on the device?  Windows, iOS, Android?

What specific browser are you using to connect?  Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari?
