No Internet on AC2300P
Trying to get my new Nighthawk up and running. Going from an older Verizon router to an AC2300. Old router had a coax in from the ONT box. Ran the coax to a Verizon Network Adapter and a cat 6 cable from the adapter to the internet port on the Nighthawk. Everything is lit up like I think it should be save for the Internet LED which is blinking orange instead of white. Is the way I have this set up any good? I have Verizon coming next week to upgrade the service which will include new wires including one solely for internet. Am I out of luck until this upgrade is done or am I missing something?

None of that is a model number.

None of that is a maker or a model number.

Is "R7000P" the actual model number? Look for "Model" on the product
label. What about your (unspecified) "an older Verizon router"?> [...] Old router had a coax in from the ONT box. Ran the coax to a
> Verizon Network Adapter [...]You're certainly consistent. The non-psychics in your audience might
know very little about your (unspecified) "the ONT box" and your
(unspecified) "a Verizon Network Adapter", too.

more helpful than your statement of satisfaction.> [...] Is the way I have this set up any good? [...]
Ask someone who knows what the pieces of "this" are/were?

If you were using a modem, and now you're not, then that might be
significant.- pkane11384AspirantI’m going from a Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway Wireless Wi-Fi Router Fios-G1100 Dual Band to this R7000P NIGHTHAWK AC2300. I only have a coax coming from the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) which according to Verizon acts as a modem of sorts. The Verizon Network Adapter that I was told I would need, linked here (https://www.verizon.com/home/accessories/fios-network-adapter/) has a coax in and four Ethernet ports. Again, I’m not sure if I can have it set up this way but I had everything set up the way I was told to by Verizon and had no internet connection on the router.
The way they had said to run everything was to connect the existing coax to the network adapter. Run a cat 6 from one of the Ethernet ports on the adapter to the internet port on the new router. As I said everything that seemed to me that needed to be lit up was, save for internet which was blinking orange.
My apologies for not providing all the information I needed to but you could have been a bit nicer than that.
