That's the second one this week.
It comes up pretty often.
Did you try this in your research:
Search - NETGEAR Communities – minecraft port forwarding

Sp, we know who made (or sold) tour modem. Sadly, we still don't know what model it is.
Without that information no one can begin to guess if your modem is just a modem or a modem/router.

A web search shows that Technicolor has produced many different devices over the years and quite a few of those are "gateways" which combine modem and router. Irf you have one of those it will almost certainly get in the way of what you are trying to do.
Most bits of kit have a label on them that says what it is, its modem number. Look on the back of yours.

Excellent. Thanks for that.
Unfortunately, it is hard to find anything definitive, so it isn't obvious (from Google) if this is also a router. It says it has two LAN ports in the back, which smells like a router, although it maybe something called "bonded channels", two lines into a router that supports this to get faster Internet.
Other people have also been puzzled by this in the past.
We can't rule out that it is a modem/router, although it doesn't look like one.
Sorry, but that doesn't get us much further.

Re: Port wont open for my minecraft server
I logged into the modem nothing seems to be causing a issue
on the router when i logged in to it im not sure if some of these things could be causing a issue
i did look at the logs and when i go to log into my server the router detects the ports working but, im not sure if something is blocking a connection coming back.
Could these be a cause??
Use router as DHCP server?
address reservation?
also could it be something in the WAN setup??

Re: Port wont open for my minecraft server
I just looked over the routers settings could both these be any sort of issue
i currently hes thses seting set for the DNS and internal ip address on the router
Get Automatically from ISP for DNS
Get Dynamically from ISP for the internal ip
should i be using a static ip?
