Private Network connected to another network
I am getting into live event video production, i.e. concerts, theatre, etc. etc., using my Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher and various cameras, computers, etc.
I'm looking for a way to easily set up at each location a private network running on the locations network. If there an easy way of doing this like through the Wireless router?
I tried a mess extender, but I could not get my network private on the locations network. Anyone could use it that has the locations password.
Again, I’m looking at an easy way like through a routers app.

each other, or do you need Internet access for your gizmos, or what,
exactly?Give or take a few (usually minor) annoyances, any router should
allow your gizmos to talk to each other.> [...] Anyone could use it that has the locations password.
If that means a typical public-Internet portal, where a user's web
browser gets directed to a log-in page to get network access, then a
typical router can't do that.A clearer description of your actual requirements might help.
- Frank2021AspirantI will have a few different pieces of equipment talking to each other.
For instance, the ATEM video switcher will be running in 2 to 5 computers controlling the same set up. One will do video switching, another will be controlling cameras, one will monitor audio, another handling media feeds , another may be monitoring live streaming connections and so on.
The switcher will be visible to the public network and possibly could be tapped into and corrupt the production we are doing.
