R6700v3 and chromecast
Hello,
I have a Netgear Nighthawk R6700v3 configured in Access Point. It is wired to my Internet Service Provider's modem via the WAN Port. I also have a TV decoder connected via CPL to my ISP's modem.
The decoder has an integrated google cast. With my smartphone connected to the WiFi of the Nighthawk I can see the google cast (Freebox Mini v2) but when I try to connect and cast something I always get an error. I try to connect via the google home app on my smartphone, I managed to connected but a few seconds later I got disconnected.
When I cast directly with the WiFi of my internet Service Provider it works. But I'd rather use the WiFi from the router.
I tried to connect my TV decoder on the the Nighthawk but it didn't change anything.
Do you have any idea of what's happening?
Thank you !

What is that modem? It rules the roost.
In AP mode, your R6700v3 is effectively a dumb box that controls not much.
