R7000 has slow Wifi Speeds but correct hard wired speeds.......

I currently own two r7000 routers. One in the basement and one hardwired in the attic as an AP. Both of them worked well with great wifi speeds. All of sudden I updated both of the routers firmware a few months back and now the wifi speeds are horrendous. I get 430Mbps hardwired out of both. But with wifi I can only get 150-200Mbps on 5G band. Thats sitting right on top of them with my iphone 11 Pro and Macbook Pro. What are the chances of both routers having the same exact issues. I've noticed a ton of lag when playing my PS4 that I never use to have until the firmware update. I am paying for 400Mbps via Fios. I have CAT6 going from ONU to R7000 in basement. I am not using their router. Any ideas for a fix....

From which version?  To which version?  Of course, you did a
Web/forum search for your current firmware version to see if others were
complaining, too, before posting your low-info question here, right?

And you determined that the router is at fault, not the client
device, how, exactly?

   Settings reset and manual reconfiguration?

   Load better (older/newer) firmware?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads.  (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)  Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want.  Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions.  (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)

I'd go back to the older firmware. The agreed upon stable version for the R7000 is the 1.0.9.42

   "Tried" with what result?

   Still a mystery.

   Maker?  Model?

You might tell the rest of us.  Different firmware?  Better router?
Any actual information might be interesting.
