Looking for help with my r7000. It was installed and working fine for months but my son hit the Wifi WPS buttons and now it won't restart. I just have the power & internet lights on
I should say I'm tech challenged & currently without laptop or PC. I think I installed with a laptop and wonder if I need a hard connection to fix this. I just have an iPad & iPhone right now.
I thought resetting the router thru Genie but it won't let me login. I was connected to the router with iPhone & I tried iPad too but same result.
Do I need to restore factory settings & if yes, can I install without a PC connection? I have Comcast modem & wifi.
Any hep is so appreciated.

Re: R7000 not restarting after hitting Wifi & WPS buttons
Did you remove power and reboot the router and still have the same problem? If so, then yes, do a hard reset. Wifi security password should be reset to default (which is printed on the router).
