R7800 as wifi repeater

Since I got an R7800 over I tried to configure it as a (somewhat expensive) wifi repeater.
Found this link
https://kb.netgear.com/24108/How-do-I-enable-the-extender-mode-feature-on-my-Nighthawk-router
But when I got to Advanced Setup > Router/AP/Bridge/Repeating Mode.
there is no "Repeating Mode" to select (only the other three).
Is there another way (without using ethernet cable)
Thanks!

There isn't a repeating/extender mode on that router.
The article has an "applies to" list and the R7800 isn't on there.
You can use it in access point mode and try hardwiring it in with ethernet, moca adapters, or powerline.
Or you can check with some of the 3rd party firmwares out there. Potentially they support repeater/extender mode. Keep in mind 3rd party firmwares can brick your device and they void the warranty.
