R8000 requires reboot every few hours

I have the latest firmware and I really like this router. While it always shows as connected to the LAN, periodically I am unable to get to the WAN. This behavior started about four days ago. It does NOT coincide with any settings changes.

 

Any ideas would be appreciated.

    It could well be a problem with the modem/gateway/ONT that is connected upstream of the router.  What is the brand name and model number of this device?

     

    The term "latest" firmware provides no information that can be confirmed.  What is the version number of the firmware installed on your R8000?
