R9000 + CM600 | Plex Server Not Available Outside of Network
Cannot for the life of me get Remote Access to work without relay. I am running Plex off my Nighthawk X10 R9000. It’s connected to a Netgear CM600 so Double NAT is not my problem.
The Private IP address and Public IP address are the same in Plex Settings. I’ve come to be aware that’s not normal.
I have searched through all the Plex forums and Netgear forums and only found one person who had this exact issue and a resolve was never posted. That was back in November of 2020.
Anybody have any clue what could be causing this?
Changing my port number from 32400 to 32401 in Remote Access resolved my issue.

What does "relay" have to do with it?
I ask because Remote Access can mean various things and "relay" is new one to me.
Netgear has been playing around with "remote" features.

Relay relays the server through Plex and limits the bandwidth to 2mbps for PLex Pass users. The quality is unbearable.
an actual screen snip of what your plex's (not the routers) remote access settings would be more helpful.
As well as going over what you've tried and the errors your getting. Details are key.

I have basically tried everything that is why I am coming here. I can't forward the port because it's running off my router. Bridge mode would do nothing cause I don't have a double NAT issue. I have manually specified the port. I have reset UPnP.
