Reday Nas Option missing

HELP!!!

I just got the R7900 Nighthawk and i wanted to use my extra 1TB extrenal hdd as a NAS device, i know this router is capable of it that is why i got it, but the issue is that i do not see the option under routerlogin.net but i see it under my network genie. and i also have an account with netgear readycloud but i can not set up an device on NAS due to not being able to see the option there. Please help me, as i have reset the router at least 10 times and  the issue is still there.

Yes the nas is connected via usb but I figured it out it was not registered so it was not working at all once I register readycloud account it all worked fine

You don't have a ReadyNAS at all, so your problem is something else - either

• connecting your 1 TB drive to your router, or
• accessing your 1 TB remotely with ReadyCloud

Can you tell us which of those problems you have having?

So the 1tb drive can be accessed it’s just I don’t get the option to set up readycloud from my router

Is the NAS connected to the router via USB port or LAN port?
