Reset wifi password
I am trying to re-set wifi password. I type in new password and click save then message is: The Router could not apply your new settings. Check your WiFi connection and try again.
Not sure what to do. I am on my phone trying to make this change and the phone is connected to the WiFi with old login. So there is a connection.
rouuterlogin worked. Thank you very much for your help. It was super twisted between the router password and the wifi password. All is worked out.

You may be able to access the controls on the device using a browser on the Chrome Book.
Same trick that you would use with a wired connection. Aim it a routerlogin.com and see what happens.

Not the best way to manage a router. Apps are generally "dumbed down" controls.
If you must do this on a phone, try aiming its browser at the routerlogin address.

If you have a computer you can connect to your router via an Ethernet connection, you can change the Wi-Fi password from the user interface.
A mobile device option is to disconnect from the router Wi-Fi, through your cell connection access the router via Anywhere Access. You should be able to change the Wi-Fi password from there.
What is the model number of your router?
A third option is the full firmware default reset from the recessed button on the back of the device. This will reset your Wi-Fi SSIDs and password to those printed on the label on the back of the device and all of your other settings as well.
