Router slow

I recently moved and my router is extremely slow.  I have the same internet provider, upped my speed and my router is very close to my computer. It worked previously when my computer was on a different floor.

I reset the modem and the router and it still is slow. I plugged my computer into the modem and the speed is very fast. The light where the router plugs into the modem is blinking.  I have reset this more than I should have and have upgraded the firmware. Any help would be appreciated.
