Setting up Port Triggering for Port Forwarding
My RangeMax recently failed and I replaced it with a ProSafe FVS318N. I understand the former is for home use and the latter is for business. On the RangeMax, I had Port Forwarding set up for a video monitoring system, one with a specific IP address. On the ProSafe, Port Forwarding is not an option. I only see Port Triggering. How do I set up PortTriggering and the router to perform Port Forwarding for the monitoring system? Thanks.

Says who?

When you looked _where_, exactly? "I don't see it" and "It doesn't
exist" are spelled differently for a reason.
Here's a radical concept which works for some people:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the Reference Manual (at least). Read. Look
for "Inbound Rules (Port Forwarding)"?
I've never touched a FVS318N, and I can't see your old
port-forwarding rules, so I know nothing, but "Send to LAN Server" looks
to me like the desired option (perhaps with "Translate to Port Number").

Re: Setting up Port Triggering for Port Forwarding
The RangeMax setup page is attached. One can choose between Port Forwarding and Port Triggering
The ProSafe is only for Port Triggering. There is no option on that page, nor another page, for Port Forwarding
I am seeking someone to help me setup the ProSafe step by step to accomplish Port Forwarding. I am guessing that it has something to do with associating certain LAN IP addresses to ports and opening those ports to those IP addresses.

Here is what the ProSafe setup page looks like

So, your claim is that the FVS318N Reference Manual is lying?
Your picture shows Security > Port Triggering, which is not the right
page. As the Reference Manual says, "1. Select Security > Firewall.
[...]" (page 140).
> [...] Get the Reference Manual (at least). Read. Look for "Inbound
> Rules (Port Forwarding)"?
Did you? "Chapter 5 Firewall Protection" (page 129), "Inbound
Rules (Port Forwarding)" (page 134), "Configure LAN WAN Rules" (page
139), "Create LAN WAN Inbound Service Rules" (page 144), ...
The FVS318N is not only obsolete, it's also rather flexible/capable,
which means that it can be more difficult to configure than some simpler
device. As previously suggested, reading the FVS318N Reference Manual
can help. I have better ways to spend my time than reading the FVS318N
Reference Manual to you.

Re: Setting up Port Triggering for Port Forwarding
Edit: Considering again, maybe I only need to setup inbound rules, because outbound traffic is, by default, unrestricted? And I don’t need to worry about Port Triggering settings at all?

Then you might need to read the FVS318N Reference Manual.

If I wanted port triggering, then I'd read the part of the manual
which talks about port triggering. If I wanted port forwarding, then
I'd read the part of the manual which talks about port forwarding.
Either way, you'd be dealing with "inbound" connections, not "outbound".

Sounds right to me.

Re: Setting up Port Triggering for Port Forwarding
That did it. I only had to set up the Inbound Services of the Firewall. Outbound Services are Allow Always by default. Port triggering did not have to be set up at all.
To replicate what was done in the old router's Port Forwarding/Port Triggering page (that was checked for Port Forwarding), I set up the new router's Inbound Services for AIM, for the devices' IP addresses and for the ports.
Thanks for guidance.
