Solid red light.

Solid red light.
I have my philips hue hub plugged into my nighthawk after a move and the associated led for that port is now solid amber, it didnt do that at the old place so something went weird when i moved. Any solutions?

Model number?

That would not amaze me. Have you tried a different Ethernet cable?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the
LED descriptions. Now that we know what "amber" means, ...
A Philips Hue hub does not need a gigabit/s network connection for
proper operation, so, although I'm too lazy to try to find the technical
specifications of your device, I'd guess that it does not have a
gigabit/s-capable network interface.

Was it connected directly to the router before? Not to some
intermediate device like a network switch?
