USB connection on a R8000

I am unable to get my hard drive to connect using the USB connection. I have tried both the 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports. The hard drive works fine when hooked up to PC. Using firmware V1.0.3.54

What is the capacity of the drive?

Was it working prior to firmware upgrade?

What is the file format of the drive?

Use a different USB drive to check the ports.

You may try to reset as well the router.
