Unable to login to router settings

I am unable to login to my router settings using the default admin information, it is asking me security quesions, despite the fact that I never set any up. I installed the router myself. I am attempting to log in so I can portforward a server for a game. I also cannot use the routerlogin.com or routerlogin.net, they both just say that I am not connected to my router. I also can't use the nighthawk app because it wants me to update my firmware which is just redirecting me to the routerlogin.net.
