A mesh router? Orbi
Otherwise there isn't really a mesh router.
A mesh extender just simply uses the same ssid as the router and allows a devices (pc/laptop/cell/etc) to roam based on a roaming protocol. A full mesh system uses a controller that runs the satellites. Mesh extenders don't have that option.
If you're simply wanting a router to match with your extender, look at the performance of the extender and get "at least" the same performance from your router.
