I don't know which router to buy. We live in a 2500 sq ft place. There are 4 of us working and doing school. We have a it of a dead spot in the back bedroom where my 10-year old boys are on the internet or gaming. Any recommendations?

R7800. If a single router doesn't cover it all, you'll have to look into adding Access Points

Re: Which Nighthawk router do I buy
Try plugging your needs into the filters on the product pages:
Wireless Routers for Home | NETGEAR
and/or
Orbi: Whole Home WiFi System for Better WiFi Everywhere | NETGEAR
Then check back here for reports on the things you are considering, but remember that people turn up in this community with problems, not compliments. So look at reviews on Amazon, for example.
With luck, the R7800 will come up as an option. As @microchip8 suggests, this is the "go to" device for people who don't want shiny go fast stripes and something at the bleeding edge of technology. It has been around long enough to have most of the wrinkles ironed out.
