I can't connect some of my devices wirelessly. And others will connect, but shortly disconnect. I'm not having the issue with my work computer, but it's plugged directly into the router. What is the issue?

Sorry for getting back so late. We noticed the w-fi repeater was making a humming noise. We unplugged and plugged it back in. Even though our devices don't use the repeater, that resolved the issue. Again, thanks for reaching out.

Re: WiFi Connection
tough to tell with limited info.
1. what firmware are you on?
2. what gateway is it connected to?
3. did this just start or how long has it been going on?
4. is it only wireless devices with the issue?

Maybe you just needed to restart devices in the correct order. This is important.
For future reference, when you have been changing things around, be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
