Will the Nighthawk 7800 support a poe switch?

I have a device that requires&nbsp; POE. I've connected that device to one of the LAN ports on my router (R7800). The problem is, I lose internet connection on my other devices when I plug in the POE switched device. How can I fix this? Do I need a different router, or is it just the switch I'm using, which is a Gigabit PoE+ injector by TRENDnet.Thank you.&nbsp;

It should support a POE switch are you using a normal ethernet cord to connect the router to the switch and not a POE one?

Thanks for the response, I forgot to update my post.It seems the issue has worked itself out. The PoE injector is indeed working with the router.Thank you.
