ethernet from router to EAX20

I am using a Router supplied by internet supplier it is a NF18ACV and a EAX20 (Purchased seperate), my question is am I able to use an ethernet cable from router to extender , The ethernet ports do appear to be outgoing rather incomming but would like an answer from some one who know more about the subject than I do

yes you can hardwire the EAX20 into the router.
You just have to re-run setup and set it up in access point mode if you're going to have it hardwired in.
