finding admin password

I followed the instructions from Net gear to find my admin. These said to go into routerlogin.net and then press "cancel", which should then lead to Router Password Recovery window being dis[;ayed. It does not! All i get is a message saying "thank you for using the Netgear web-based Router Configuration Utility. Goodbye". Not helpful at all! Does anyone know how to retrieve the correct page from Netgear?
