how to recover a forgotten admin ID for Netgear router?

How do I recover the admin ID for this router?  I can reset the password but I do not know how to reset the admin.

Have you tried a factory reset?  Use a pointed object such as a pen or a paper clip to press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button, located on the bottom of the router, for over five seconds until the Power LED blinks amber.  Then release the Restore Factory Settings button, and wait for the router to reboot.  I'm pretty sure this should allow you to use the default Admin for the user.  Good luck.
