x6 r8000 ac3200 will not factory reset

When i try to log in using the android app, it goes directly to admin access and requests a password with user name of admin, will not let me change user name. The default password for admin will not work, so i tried to routerlogin.com and reset the password but it will not accept my recovery answers. Finally i decided to jut do a factory reset, but it will not work. I held the button for 7 seconds, 30 seconds and a full minute. Tried with power to router with connections and without. Please help.
