MK83 locks up after making trivial changes

Installing the Nighthawk MK83 in my house.  Running the latest version of the firmware. Sometimes when I change a trival value the webserver locks up and I cannot get access to the controls with either a browser of App.  Things I was doing: changing the type of device for one that was attached (using a web browser) and changing the name (string) of the base router using the App. The network was still running but the only way to fix it was to power off and back on. Didn't expect the interface to be that fragile. Other than "Don't do that" are there any recommendations? Where does this go for the bug queue?
