Nighthawk MR 60
Router has 2.4 ghz and 5ghz. Smart plugs sync on 2.4 only. I can get into router via 192.168.1.1 but do not know how to turn off 5ghz to allow plugs to sync up

Re: Nighthawk MR 60
You can't turn off the 5ghz.
The problem is poor coding on the plugs. It shouldn't matter for setup if you're on the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz but for poorly coded devices it does. If you can connect your phone/tablet to the 2.4ghz you should be able to set it up

The plugs can be synced up on 2.4. I will try the phone/tablet

Re: Nighthawk MR 60
I am new to this forum and not sure who I responded to. Any way I have an MR60 router with two satellites. I turned off the satelites, created a guest WIFI, and then synced the 2.4GHZ plugs with the guest Wifi. Everything works. I got this idea from searching thru the internet.
