Putting MR60 into AP mode so I can use a DDWRT router
Hi All
I want certain functions of a DDWRT router however I want to continue using my Mesh (MR60) to "distribute" the WIFI signal. I think that in order to do this, I should just put the MR60 into AP mode, and then feed a cable to the DDWRT router? My hope is that I could use DDWRT's features and functions (e.g. parental control, ad blocking etc) over my network (also, before someone says that you can do that with your current Netgear products, I still want to use DDWRT). Is what I am proposing to do (MR60 AP mode, with DDWRT router acting as the gateway) correct?

Yes.

Any DD-WRT router support or information needs to be directed to there web site support page.
Good luck.

You'd go gateway---->DDWRT router--->MR60 in ap mode.
