Reverse chronological ordering of posts…………….why not?

Why are posts ordered so that you have to wade through all the old posts to get to the latest?

It would be great if at least there was an option that would flip the order to latest first.  Would that be that hard......not like it's a rearrangement of stone tablets?

Not sure if they have already heard you and fixed it, but when I am viewing currently, they are in "reverse chronological" order, latest/most recent first.

Thanks for clarifying that speedy.  I was looking at some of the popular posts with lots of replies, which are not reverse chronological.

...on those threads my browser does end up sowhere in the middle these days why ever. Something screwed.
