All Sonos speakers couldn’t connect after the update no matter what I did

I had the same issue on an update to my Nighthawk RAX45. All Sonos speakers couldn’t connect after the update no matter what I did. Rebooted, powered down/powered up, and unplugged/replugged both router, modem, and Sonos speakers. Nothing worked.

So, I rolled back the update to the previous version and everything worked instantly. No extra effort at all.

Something is seriously wrong with the update and I’m surprised NETGEAR is quiet about it. Ticks me off. I keep seeing the “update” button turned on but I want to know if NETGEAR has fixed the issue.

And please NETGEAR, don’t post your nonsense about rebooting, asking me to get serial numbers and what not.

This is your deal. Your update SUCKS.
