I do not have a smart phone.
I borrowed a smart phone for installation purposes.
Now, without access to a smart phone, how do I 'check up' on my modem should I want to for any reason?
Thanks,
Bob

Which equipment have you installed?
A router? Modem? Modem/router?
They can have different ways in.
Mobile phones are necessary for most things you can do. Some of us avoid mobile access wherever possible.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Look for the model number on the label on the device.

Re: Follow up post installation
Installed Nighthawk Netgear42 router.
Have read the Manual - with my 2nd grade level knowledge of computers, the Manual is like a foreign language to me.
